Film score selections

Here are a few selections of music from my film, How to Get Away with it.

I recorded most of the music in the spring of 2017; spending most the time arranging and mixing, rather than composing. I wanted the film’s soundtrack to have a ticking-clock or beating drum progression as the plot takes the audience towards the climax. I also wanted the music to sound like it was coming from inside the room (the entire film takes place in one room) so I tried to make the music with objects I could find in that room (banging on furniture, a coffee tin, etc.) I added some bass and guitar just to spice it up because pure percussion would be a little boring.
